TMCC Entrepreneurship Club Students to Lunch at the Governor's Mansion - September 23, 2008

Students at TMCC who are members of the entrepreneurship club will be using the Governor’s Mansion on Wednesday Sept. 24 from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. for a lesson business lunch meetings. Students will focus on the proper etiquette to use during network lunches. The students will be assisted by members of the TMCC Business Studies advisory board. Jeannine Higgins, owner of Voila Catering, generously donated lunch. Nevada First Lady Dawn Gibbons invited the group to use the mansion. For more...

Nevada Historian Discusses the State's Environmental Impact - September 23, 2008

Jim Hulse, a retired professor of history at the University of Nevada, Reno will discuss Nevada’s history and what he calls its environmental problems. On Wednesday, Oct. 22 at 2 p.m. on the Dandini Campus in SIER 108 Hulse will summarize the environmental changes that have been made by the cattle, mining and railroad industries of the 19th century and their impact on the 20th century. His lecture will also analyze Nevada's water problems, the increasing hazard of wildfires, the expansion.

TMCC Receives $100,000 for Solar Technology Lab - September 5, 2008

TMCC Observes Nevada Day Holiday - September 5, 2008

Truckee Meadows Community College will close all sites and campus for the Nevada Day Holiday on Fri., Oct. 31. Closed sites include TMCC Dandini Campus; TMCC High Tech Center at Redfield; TMCC Applied Technology Center; TMCC Meadowood Center; and TMCCNell J. Redfield Foundation Performing Arts Center.
