This is the widest street in the world and has 18 lanes for traffic. It takes about three intervals of "green man" to cross the entire avenue. It was amazing to see how the cars managed the roundabout at the monument with so many lanes. Walking into the main pedestrian and shopping are, Avda Florida, I found myself in a tourist trap so far from the quiet areas I had so far. He picked me up outside my hotel at about two o clock for lunch and we took a taxi to Barrio Palermo.
