Kindle Review- June 22, 2008 So, after thinking about it a bit, I went out and ordered an Amazon Kindle ebook reader. It arrived last Tuesday, just in time for me to take it with me on Wednesday&8217;s flight to California. The Kindle let me leave 5 lbs of books at home and cut a couple inches off the thickness of my laptop bag, which was a pretty substantial improvement over the previous week&8217;s flight. Over the past 5 days, I&8217;ve read 3 complete novels on it&8211;Thirteen, All Tomorrow&8217;s Parties, and...http://scottstuff.net/blog/articles/2008/06/22/kindle-review Flying during WWDC- June 5, 2008 I should have planned this better. I&8217;m going to be one a plane to NYC (and therefore completely out of touch) during the WWDC keynote. From what I can see, Amazon&8217;s Kindle is probably the best fit for my needs. Does anyone have any recommendations one way or the otherhttp://scottstuff.net/blog/articles/2008/06/03/should-i-buy-a-kindle Changing projects at work; travel afoot- June 4, 2008 The last few months have been kind of quiet here for two simple reasons: I&8217;ve been completely swamped with launching something new at work. That&8217;s finally done. Every spare non-work minute has been spent in my back yard, working on The Project That Won&8217;t Die. I&8217;m re-terracing the lawn, putting in a big planterretaining wall thing with a couple sets of steps, putting in a new paver patio, and then re-planting the whole lawn. The end is finally in sight there,...http://scottstuff.net/blog/articles/2008/06/03/changing-projects-at-work-travel-afoot |
