'There is no way I would let anyone treating me or my loved ones put anything except honey on our wounds," says Dr Shona Blair, a post-doctoral microbiology researcher at the University of Sydney. A national surveillance programme for varroa confirmed the presence of varroa at two sites at Stoke near Nelson on June 16, and a further eight infected sites were confirmed this week.
