MATCH 3 : Smell That......AGAIN! - June 26, 2008

14 months after City produced a brilliant at Blundell Park, the Imps turned in an even better performance against the Mariners. Jamie Forrester's debut for the Imps was certainly memorable as he contributed to City's huge 5-0 win over the Mariners, just a pity that Grimsby won the other tree meetings between the two sides that year.

Nat Brown released - June 26, 2008

Nat Brown has left Sincil Bank following the news of Kovacs signing and Sinclair impending. The former Huddersfield defender rarely featured towards the end of his City career and the reaction to the news at "Jacko's Evening" was certainly one that would indicate he wasn't a popular figure with the fans.

The 200809 season starts off with The Lord of The Imps and his red army travelling to Sheffield as they take on Rotherham United at their new home, the Don Valley stadium. This first game will provide a good measure of just how far the Imps have come since the last season, as last year the Imps failed to take a single point of Rotherham losing 3-1 and 3-2 to the Millers.

MATCH 4 : Smell That! - June 24, 2008

Lincoln City put in a fine performance on the seaside trip to Grimsby Town. The Imps put in a performance that kick started the push for promotion and it also saw the start of Simon Yeo's only consistent scoring run for the Imps. All in all, it wasn't a bad day out at the seaside.
