Firefighters Battle 3 Wildires In Colorado - June 11, 2008

Hot, dry weather kept firefighters busy Tuesday afternoon. The U.S. Forest Service was battling a fire north of Topaz Mountain. Topaz Mountain is east of Fairplay in Park County. The fire is estimated to be two acres. Gusty winds were fueling the fire. A helicopter and two engine crews were on hand along with a Single Engine Air Tanker (SEAT) from Fort Collins.
