The Loudoun County Animal Shelter , at 39820 Charles Town Pike (Route 9) in Waterford, offers pets for adoption to anyone over 18. More pets can be seen at www.loudoun.govanimals. The shelter has animal viewing and adoption hours from 1 to 6 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays; 1 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays; and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays.
