So much to get done school-wise and so little to do fun-wise. That is why my friends and I spent yesterday at the Kate Davis compound on Lake Martin. It was literally one of the most perfect days I can recall. Good food, some beers, floating in the lake for hours on end...Her mom and her mom's husband took us out on a little end-of-the-day lake tour. I dreamed about having a house on the lake...ahhhh! I want that kind of life. Melissa and I went up to Birmingham for Laura's wedding which was yesterday. It was at the same church as Christa's - and it was a beautiful service. Friday night we had dinner with my parents - my dad is still sober (praise God) and he also recently got a hearing aid. He can actually HEAR what people say - and he dosen't yell out his responses.
