In conjunction with the review, they are also presenting a massive competition to win Lord of the Rings books and merchandise. Maite and Chris Barbe's SwissFrench program, Trampoline won the 'Outstanding contribution to multicultural broadcasting' award. Well done to Trampoline. Ced was presenter of the 'Shamrock program' for many years, and was always one of the first people to welcome new presenters into the station. He passed away in 1999. Tom was a previous director of 2RRR and presented many Scots music programs and was a noted barbershop singer. Tom passed away in 2001. A music show presented by Pascal, Butterfly Effect focuses on new and lesser known artists and songs from across the globe. The showfeatures an interview with a promoter from Frontier Touring. They'll chat about the "sensitive dependence on initial conditions" that young bands experience and what these up and comers can and should do if they seriously want to crack the industry. The Desert Child duo have the sun shining with Latin rhythms and intricate guitar picking. Played over 30 shows at the Edinburgh Festival 1998 and again in 1999.
