Modula-2 Compiler - Native PPC Code for OS4 - June 24, 2008

Hello all. I&039;ve uploaded a new OS4 compiler producing native PPC code:This replaces and is a total re-write of the AgletM2 compiler, which produces M68K code for emulation.Note that this requires OS4 final, the Hyperion SDK, and, for the included IDE, either GoldEd, CygnusEd, or TurboText.

Still Alive Tribute by Eric Schwartz for Amiga playback - June 22, 2008

Eric Schwartz released a tribute to the Amiga called "Still Alive" a few months ago on YouTube. There&039;s also an MP4 version of it, but so far, there was no Amiga native playback even though the animation itself is not very demanding (320x200 in 4 colours). The main problem was sync&039;ing the video with the music -- especially when the frame rate of the video is not exactly 50 Hz or 60 Hz. Luciferin Flashrom Software V4.0 Update available - June 22, 2008

New VmwAROS beta released - June 22, 2008

The new beta version 0.8 of VmwAROS distribution is out. This new release includes huge improvements in many areas.The new emergency mode uses a second AROS kernel to boot the operating system on older machines and, generally, on ATA PCs where the new builds fails to boot.

Hall Of Light Reaches 2,000 Game Maps - June 21, 2008

The Hall of Light now has 2,044 maps in its collection. The maps gives an overview of the level design which you usually don&039;t get with the telescopic view of a game played normally. The maps are created using Retrospec&039;s GFXRipper and the HOL member Nico&039;s LvlRip, plus some headscratching.
