Who really suffers - June 13, 2004

RIAA Protests Digital Radio: It looks like the RIAA wants regulations put on digital radio because they fear that people will pirate the CD Quality music that digital radio provides. Digital radio broadcasts that bring CD-quality sound to the airwaves could lead to unfettered song copying if protections are not put in place, a recording-industry trade group warned on Friday. Safe Mode - June 12, 2004

AseLabs has a new internet comic called Safe Mode that pokes fun at people who bring their PCs in to retail store tech support. My case is completely closed and any openings have fan grills and running fans on them. Crazy stuff. It never stunk but it is pretty dried up now. Who knows. Maybe that explains the random restarts lately.

Guess who has Gmail - June 9, 2004

Scott hooked me up with a GMail code last night. Thoughts so far.. I like the simple design. I like how everything is fast and they use javascript for certian tasks instead of reloading the page to display a confirmation. Also the keyboard shortcuts rule! I wish I could have it pull in all the mail from my POP3 accounts so I check them all from one webmail account. That would be sweet. Maybe I'll request the feature.
