I live in Sun Prairie, WI and have already tried the Winegard HD-1080. This antenna works great for all the UHF channels, but Fox (the only VHF channel) it very spotty. Since I'm at an elavation of 1600' (in NY) I recieve all of Scranton's digital UHF stations (on a Winegard PR 9200) and one of those two VHF stations (on a Winegard YA-1713).
