The women's sailing team opened the fall sailing season with two strong performances at one day sailing events in the Boston area on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, the Bulldogs won the Women's Man-Labs Trophy hosted by MIT in Cambridge, Mass. while the team placed third on Sunday at the Captain's Cup hosted by Tufts in Medford, Mass.

Callie Kemmer Wins Nittany Lion Invitational - September 15, 2008

Freshman Callie Kemmer, competing as an individual, took home the Nittany Lion Invitational Individual Championship on Sunday. Kemmer was participating in her first tournament as a Bulldog. She shot two rounds of 73 (+1) on Saturday and finished off Sunday with a round of 74 (+2). Kemmer's round of 73 on Saturday afternoon was the day's low round. Overall, she shot a tournament of 220 (+4), finishing four shots better than second place.

Bulldogs Finish 12th at Gopher Invitational - September 15, 2008

The Bulldogs dropped one place Sunday, shooting a 306 to finish the Gopher Invitational in 12th place. They finished only one shot behind Iowa State and three behind SMU. Yale's round of 306 was their best of the tournament, after rounds of 307 and 313 on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
