You know who else doesnt have a sense of humor - June 12, 2008

Flounder. I am amused to no end with the apology the Legal Seafood president gave for ads on the Boston which said This conductor has a face like a halibut: We should have never, ever said, 'This conductor has a face like a halibut,' when the truth is, most conductors don't look anything at all like halibuts. Some look more like groupers or flounders. I've even seen a few who closely resemble catfish. And there's one conductor on the Green Line that looks remarkably like a hammerhead shark...

But it was beautifully shot defecation - June 10, 2008

1. Pornography is not art, no matter how much you try to make it so. 2. That doesnt mean it should be illegal. 3. Dont we have better things to do with our courts than prosecute obscenity cases

Impeach Bush No Thanks. - June 10, 2008

Im not too big a fan of Kucinich trying to Impeach Bush now. Maybe two years ago. I especially am not a fan of doing it while he is out of the country. I know his presence is not required, but it just feels like waiting for someone youre afraid of the leave the room before sticking your tongue out at him. This only serves to make the Dems look bad. Hes gone in less than a year. Lets focus our energies on fixing things, not political foolisness.

Jenkins Update - June 6, 2008

The Jenkins case, (which you can read about here) was essentially ended today when the Virginia Supreme Court refused to invalidate the Vermont ruling. The decision not to invalidate the Vermont ruling isnt pro-gay, per se. Rather it was due to the Federal Law which prevents forum shopping in custody cases. Had this initially been brought in Virginia, rather than Vermont, the outcome could have been different. Still, the small victories are important too.
