Man accused of raping mentally disabled girl due in court NEW YORK - July 2, 2008

The man accused of raping and sexually abusing a mentally disabled girl will be in court Tuesday. Joseph Brandt of Ogden is scheduled to be arraigned on 17 charges including rape and sex abuse.

Parking Rates Increase For Disabled Drivers CALIFORNIA - July 2, 2008

Effective Today, July 1, parking rates will increase for disabled drivers within the city of Monterey. For years, drivers displaying the handicap parking placards were given free parking within city garages and lots. With the change, disabled drivers will now pay 50% in certain city lots, included those at Fishermans Wharf and Cannery Row. The rate change does not affect street or metered parking locations.
