Now, if only about ten percent of those would buy a book! We've got to get a mass market paperback deal, so's the price of the books come to the range where kids can buy them. And with the additional of the Harbingers, the cast of characters is going to get a little zanier. (The Harbingers are already a favorite of mine--you've got to love sentient bugs with attitude.) The next thing will be to ensure that the plot has some nice substance to it once things get rolling. But, after a couple of months, I'm beginning to suspect that Publisher's Marketplace, like most services that claim to help authors connect with agents and publishers, is really in the business of giving we unsuccessful authors way to burn off excess energy.
