The theatre had been faced with permanent closure, following the arts council’s decision to claim back more than £1 million of funding from the venue after the company had gone into administration. Plus there are nine Tony nominations for Sunday in the Park with George (icluding one each for Daniel Evans and Jenna Russell), and seven nominations for Gypsy. The awards will be presented on Sunday June 15th and broadcast on CBS in the US.
