I am in love... - October 22, 2007

Since the baby has decided to take his sweet time in getting here, I decided to indulge myself a bit. Since I got my Ravelry invite, I was able to more easily find an LYS. Not only that, but an LYS that local shoppers trusted. That happens to be Knitter's Kove. I'm sure I spent well over 30 minutes just drooling over the selection of yarn. And, until I can get to Colorado Fiber Arts and drool over their selection, I'm satisfied with Knitter's Kove. I ended up walking away with some sock yarn to.

Wait! What is this - October 11, 2007

Two picture posts in a row!First, my Dragon Scales scarf. I took this pattern and doubled it to knit with lace-weight yarn. I used KnitPicks' Shimmer in Turquoise Splendor. I had one hank and most of a second left over from a Christmas gift I made last year. This was actually a pretty quick project, I just didn't knit on it every day.
