Wired News goes XHTML - (Found July 8, 2008 )

The Wired News site has undergone a major renovation and now uses the latest XHTML and CSS specifications. The result is impressive (smaller pages that load faster, better conformance to the accessibility guidelines, simpler maintenance) yet partial: the pages of the site are not well formed XML.

The W3C TAG refutes HLink - (Found July 8, 2008 )

In answer to the HLink linking proposal from the W3C HTML Working Group, the members of the W3C Technical Architecture Group (TAG) have unanimously stated that "XLink should be used for hypertext references in user-interface oriented applications" instead of HLink.
