The RDDL Challenge - (Found July 8, 2008 )

On behalf of the W3C TAG, Tim Bray asked the XML community for examples of what documentation at the end of a namespace should look like, using RDDL (Resource Directory Description Language) as a starting point. Several interesting alternatives have been proposed.

IETF publishes URN specs as RFCs - (Found July 8, 2008 )

Larry Masinter noted that the IETF has now published RFC 3406, Uniform Resource Names (URN) Namespace Definition Mechanism, as well as RFCs 3401, 3402, 3403 and 3404 on the Dynamic Delegation Discovery System (DDDS).
