Shark Bites Lame Tigers! - February 25, 2008

So, here we are again, after two consecutive away games in the GP which had a good win away to Gloucester followed by an abject display in the second half, and loss to Irish, we took our seats wondering which Tigers team would turn up The main topic of conversation surrounded the back line selection with 4 centres on the park and no specialist wingershttp:rss.feedsportal.comc498f6600sa4c14bmf.gif

A Sting In The Tale - February 17, 2008

Wasps have never won at Welford Road in the professional era. If they were going to make the pay-offs that would have to change. Roger reports on the final league game of the Guinness premiership.http:rss.feedsportal.comc498f6600s944a16mf.gif

Devaluation - February 17, 2008

It should have been one of the games of the season. Gloucester, top of the league by the smallest of margins versus Leicester who came second. Gloucester's win should have given them every expectation that this would again be their year. In fact the Tigers could easily win the Premership for the second year in a row. This is by how far such games have been devalued.http:rss.feedsportal.comc498f6600s944a09mf.gif

Tigers squeeze Cardiff blue - February 17, 2008

Cardiff should have arrived in Leicester in confident mood. They are top of the Magners League having five wins from six games and last week's 32-15 victory over Sale Sharks had also put them top of Pool B of the EDF Energy Cup. Cardiff included two All Blacks and three British and Irish Lions in their starting XV...http:rss.feedsportal.comc498f6600s944a04mf.gif

Tigers Win on Points - February 17, 2008

It was like watching two heavyweight boxers slug it out for the world title. Leicester were the hard hitting fighter (Jo Frasier) and Toulouse the skillful, technical boxer (Ali). It was the fighter that won 14-9 in a desperately close contest that finished with Leicester on the metaphorical ropes unable to win their own scrum in four attempts.http:rss.feedsportal.comc498f6600s9449fcmf.gif

A Tale of Two Toms (as seen with one eye) - February 17, 2008

On the 12th Day of Christmas, the Tigers sent to me Five points and an on-form Goo-dey Anticipation So that&146;s the festivities done. Chrimby deccoes back in the loft, tree quietly shedding in the yard, New Year resolutions broken. Let&146;s take the kids to the panto &150; there&146;s a matinee performance in Twickenham.http:rss.feedsportal.comc498f6600s9449f1mf.gif

Campanula Terminus - February 17, 2008

This week, just for added value or more shoite depending on your view, we have 3 reports for the price of one. (and this is the Stopsy report mkII-inky) Firstly for AndreaW - Lewis looked lovely and did so all game. I think Tigers won with a bonus point but that's just too detailed.http:rss.feedsportal.comc498f6600s9449dbmf.gif

Our Hero - February 17, 2008

No fanfare, no book release and no sniping at coaches was the way Martin Corry decided to end his international career. Much in the same way he conducted himself during his 10 year England career Martin thanked everyone who had helped him and bowed quietly away into the night.http:rss.feedsportal.comc498f6600s9449e6mf.gif

Dead Rubber or a Drubbing - February 17, 2008

After the previous weeks no show at Murrayfield, I was unsure what to expect against Leinster. Would we just go through the motions in what for Tigers was a dead rubber. I was soon to find out. Tigers conceded a penalty from the kick off as Jordan Crane was penalised for holding on. Filipe Contemponi kicked the penalty to put Leinster 3-0 up.http:rss.feedsportal.comc498f6600s9449dfmf.gif

Cubs in the West Country - February 17, 2008

It would be easy to dismiss this as a game where the Tiger Cubs were ultimately out fought and out thought by the wily old heads of the Bristol pack.http:rss.feedsportal.comc498f6600s944a20mf.gif
