The ADS and Lake District National Park Authority are pleased to announce the availability of the Lake District Historic Environment Record (HER) online. With the objective of making this HER accessible to a wider audience, it is hosted by ADS where it is integrated into their searching and delivery mechanisms. June 2008: The Archaeology of Glastonbury Abbey on-line updated - (Found June 24, 2008 )

The ADS and the Trustees of Glastonbury Abbey are pleased to announce an update to the Archaeology of Glastonbury Abbey archive. This update comprises a report produced by Jerry Sampson in 1995 which records in detail the evidence for a complex painted scheme covering many of the wall surfaces in the 12th century Lady Chapel. The report is made available for download as a series of pdf files.

May 2008: Northamptonshire NMP resource updated - (Found June 24, 2008 )

The ADS and English Heritage are pleased to announce the release of a major update to the Northamptonshire National Mapping Programme resource. This resource aims to enhance our understanding about past human settlement, by providing primary information and syntheses for all archaeological sites and landscapes (visible on aerial photographs) from the Neolithic period to the twentieth century. May 2008: Six new ALSF archives released - (Found June 24, 2008 )

The ADS and English Heritage are pleased to announce the release of a further six new Aggregates Levy Sustainability Fund (ALSF). This brings the total of collections available on this section of the ADS site to sixty seven. Reflecting the broad range of time periods and locations covered by the ALSF archive these new releases cover the range from prehistory to the mediaeval and relate to sites from all over England.
