The name of the 19-year-old Fresno woman who was shot and wounded Wednesday night outside an apartment in southwest Fresno was made public this morning.Charnetta Thompson, who was shot in the head, was reported in serious condition at Community Regional Medical Center, Lt. Tony Bennink said.

HANFORD - A girlfriend of Dave Hawk, accused of killing his missing ex-wife, testified this morning that Hawk made threatening comments about Debbie Hawk when he was served legal papers in December 2005. An 18-year-old Visalia man, Isamar Gutierrez, was shot in the arm Wednesday night during a drive-by shooting at Prospect and Church avenues, Visalia police reported this morning.Officers said three suspects were arrested a short time later after they were stopped in a car believed to have been involved in the shooting.

An autopsy will be held today in the death of a 78-year-old woman whose body was found Wednesday night in her pool in north Fresno.The Fresno County Coroner's Office said Lois Murrin, who reportedly lived alone in the 900 block of East Portland Avenue, was found by a son about 9:30 p.m. when he went to check on her.
