I have just come across an article with posits that there is a relationship between asbestos exposure and renal failure. Like people who have been exposed to asbestos don't have enough to worry about, now they have to worry about dialysis, and if they are very unlucky they were put on heparin during dialysis and have yet another thing to worry about.
