Dr Pornthip Rojanasunan isn't interested in politics. What she really wants to do is teach little children. Dr Pornthip, 50, shot to fame in recent years when she proved successfully that police interpretations of two high-profile criminal cases were wrong. More recently, she stayed at a Buddhist temple in Phang Nga for six weeks to identify the bodies of tsunami victims and return them to their families.

Thaksin Shinawatra leads party to stunning victory in Thailand - February 7, 2005
