Nokia N79 and N96-3 official tech specs published on Forum Nokia - August 29, 2008

Forum Nokia has published the official tech specs for the upcoming Nokia N79 and Nokia N96-3 (which is a variant of the N96 for the Americas). Oddly they don't list free RAM for either device, but that's possibly because the release firmwares aren't finished yet. You can also see the tech specs for the original Nokia N96 too.

Dogz Comes to N-Gage, But Stays in the Kennel - August 28, 2008

T'Zer takes a look at the latest N-Gage release, but isn't at all impressed with what's on offer. Are Nokia Exploring a 'Comes with Games' Strategy - August 25, 2008

It might be flagged up heavily as a mix of rumour and speculation, but Stuart Dredge's column over on Pocket Gamer makes a certain amount of sense. In it he puts forward the idea that Nokia will launch a 'Comes With Games' service, similar to 'Comes With Music' that we know is coming. This is something All About N-Gage has been calling for for a while now, and finally it's happened: Nokia has teamed up with Zeemote to produce a wireless gaming controller compatible with all existing N-Gage and Symbian S60 games and applications. The controller's application can be installed on any S60 3rd Edition handset and lets you map the controller's buttons to any of the phone's buttons. While the Positech titles in question are for the desktop, the principles should apply to mobile games as well. His four main conclusions were as follows; No More DRMWhile only one title had even basic DRM (a single internet look up to check) this was enough to put most people off. So no more DRM in the new...
