Colleges are easier mark for identity thieves than banks- May 31, 2006 The Los Angeles Times has an article on the increase in personal information thefts occuring at institutions of higher education:Since January, at least 845,000 people have had sensitive information jeopardized in 29 security failures at colleges nationwide.
