Goodbye, And Thanks! - April 30, 2008

We made a valiant attempt at Premiership rugby this year, but no matter how you look at it, Leeds Carnegie weren't good enough this year. With some astute investment in players though, it could just be a minor blip on the 5-year plan. Writing for the Leeds Guide, Andy Brown looks forward to the next two games, and the season beyond.

Leeds Crash back to the ND1 Naughty Step - April 19, 2008

!5 minutes of madness and a guy called Querra doomed us to a year on the naughty step that is ND1. It could have been so different for the large part of the first half a neutral could be forgiven for wondering which team was at the top and which was at the bottom of the GP, the forwards were more than a match for Glos, Vainikolo was kept quiet and we started to play the best rugby for some time

Harlequins Provide Hammering at Headingley - April 14, 2008

This coming week, a joiner will order more nails, an axeman will sharpen his blade, and a fat lady will prepare for her performance. All three will almost certainly be gainfully employed next Saturday, and Leeds Carnegie will be confirmed as the team to be relegated from the Guinness Premiership. Its also possible that tomorrow Specsavers will get a visit from today's man in the middle.

Bloodied but Unbowed... - April 9, 2008

The Carnegies take on the Harlequins this weekend in a Guinness Premiership fixture where realistically they are only playing for their pride. The last two games have seen the lads battered first by Saracens and then by Bath at the Rec. So the question I ask myself is - can the Carnegies clobber the cocky &145;Quins

Leeds Lose out to Bouyant Bath - April 9, 2008

In the build-up to the match, it looked as if Bath weren't really bothered with the European Challenge Cup. Our preview speculated that this could have been due to apathy on the part of Bath. On the day, there was nothing apathetic about Bath's performance, as Janet & Calden Batt report...

Team News: Bath vs Leeds Carnegie - April 4, 2008

So, we've established that the Bath fans and team ARE interested in the game and aren't at all arrogant about it - I knew that anyway, but it was amazing to see how little had been written about it.. Here, we dive into the team sheets for the day, and do some speculative analysis on the interesting match-ups the team sheet throwns together...

Arrogance or Apathy from Bath faithful - April 3, 2008

There&146;s a strange lack of chat on the Bath messageboard about the forthcoming fixture at the Rec. The visit of any team in a European quarter-final you&146;d have thought would be a hot topic for debate. What team should they put out Who are the prime candidates for the game Can they make it past the quarters and get into serious contention for their first bit of silverware in living memory
