Leeds bid farewell to Premiership and Players - May 13, 2008

The Leeds Carnegie team signed off their Premiership campaign with a determined and entertaining 28-45 loss to former (and, I suspect, soon to be crowned again) champions, Wasps. Once again the team gave their all for a match they were odds on to lose, and once again they fell just a little way short.

Ashes to ashes: Leeds v Wasps - May 9, 2008

The Carnegies complete the fixture list with a home game against Wasps. The contrasting fortunes of the the two clubs are there for all to see. Wasps are surging up the Guinness Premiership and a five point win could see them finish second in the final table as Bath are at Gloucester. If that was not enough incentive then Wasps&146; greatest ever player is putting on the black shirt for the last time.

Carnegie seeks New Director of Rugby - May 6, 2008

It has been announced on the official Leeds Carnegie web site in the last hour that Stuart Lancaster is to leave Leeds Carnegie at the end of the current campaign. This will end a sixteen year association with the club and sees him join the national set-up as Head of Elite Rugby Development.

Nothing to Lose Except Dignity - May 2, 2008

Leeds Carnegie travels to Reading this weekend for the penultimate game of the GP season. The team has nothing to play for but pride. Their opponents still harbour thoughts of a top-six finish to the season and will want five points so once again the Leeds players will find themselves up against it and only the prospect of a long hard afternoon to look forward to.
